Scholarships
Your scholarship application must be received by March 15 for consideration. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. In order to complete this application please have electronic copies of the following documents ready to attach. Files can be submitted as a pdf, jpg or docx file. The application form must be submitted in full in one sitting. UNFINISHED FORMS CANNOT BE SAVED. Please allow at least 1 hour to complete the application. In order to access the applications you MUST have a gmail account. If you do not have one, please set up a free account.

- SAT and/or ACT Score(s) (name and score must show on the same page)
- Names & contact information of 2 references. (Be sure to confirm your references are willing to speak with us if needed)

Clarkston Education Foundation Senior Scholarships
The Clarkston Education Foundation (CEF) Senior Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior who demonstrates a desire to continue his/her education or academic interest. This award is not limited to a particular field of study or school. Students pursuing training beyond high school are eligible, regardless of program. We encourage all students to apply for this scholarship due to it’s broad nature. This award was created by community members who wanted to broaden the horizons of students and prepare them for experiences in and beyond the valley. These community members formed CEF in order to promote and enhance education in Clarkston schools. The application requires a personal essay, references and academic records. The selection committee consists of CEF board and community members. Online Application
Charles R. and Louise V. Setlow Memorial Science/STEM Scholarship
The Charles R. and Louise V. Setlow Memorial Science Scholarship for the Advancement of Science Education is awarded annually to a graduating senior. The children of Charles and Louise Setlow – Marguriette, Andrew (1950 CHS graduate), Robert (1960 CHS graduate), and Charlene (1962 CHS graduate) – established this fund in 2006 to promote science education in memory of their parents. Selection is based on academic achievement, and a demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in a scientific field. Students pursuing training beyond high school are eligible, regardless of program. The scientific field includes but is not limited to careers in; biology, chemistry, ecology, psychology, physics, astronomy, microbiology, oceanography, botany, zoology, meteorology, entomoloby, hydrology, geophysics. Clarkston Education Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship
The CEF Performing Arts Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who is pursuing a degree in music, art, drama or dance. dance. Recipients of this award may
attend a four year University/college, a two year Community College, or pursue technical training in the fields which award certificates. The performing arts filed includes but is not limited to careers in entertainment industry business, talent management, film and theatre direction, dance performance and choreography, film/television/theatre acting, music performance and composition. If you are uncertain your chosen field qualifies, please contact the foundation so we may be of assistance.

McConnell Family Leadership Scholarship
Established in 2019 to honor Larry and Denise McConnell, who dedicated their teaching careers to Clarkston students and their children who also became teachers. Selection for this award will be based on the applicant’s leadership both in and out of the classroom. Leadership skills developed in church, work, community, personal relationships, classroom or athletic arenas will all be considered. Online Application
Tim Lynch Three-Sport Athletic Scholarship
This scholarship is open to any student who has participated in three sports during their high school career. Online Application
Keith Claassen Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2021 in memory of Keith Claassen, who was a lifelong Asotin County wheat farmer. This scholarship will be awarded to students who decide to pursue careers in agricultural fields, including agriculture, science, and engineering, but students entering other career paths may also be considered as long as they have been actively involved in agricultural programs such as FFA, 4‑H, school-based ag courses, or community agriculture activities. Recipients for this award are not limited to those attending a 4-year program. Those attending shorter programs, including certification, are encouraged to apply. Online Application
Logan Moore Memorial Scholarship
The Logan Moore Memorial Scholarship was established in 2025 in memory of Logan Moore, who was born in the Lewis-Clark Valley and graduated from Washington State University. This scholarship is open to students pursuing any post-secondary field of study and is not limited to a particular school or program. Eligible recipients may use the award toward a four-year degree at a college or university, a two-year degree at a community college, or a certification program at a trade or technical school. Applicants must submit academic records, volunteer and/or work history, a personal statement (essay), references, and participate in a short interview as part of the selection process. The Clarkston Education Foundation’s Student Grant Program is created to assist students and families with the cost of College in the High School fees. The funds are intended to be awarded to students whose:
-family is considered low-income
-family is NOT low income but could use help with costs above and beyond regular living expenses
-family is NOT low income but has one or more students currently in college
-family is NOT low income but has extenuating circumstances where financial assistance is appreciated.
Applicants will be required to indicate a family income range on the application and verification of income may be requested as needed.

-family is NOT low income but has extenuating circumstances where financial assistance is appreciated.
Applicants will be required to indicate a family income range on the application, and verification of income may be requested as needed.
